Starting January 16, 2024, all students will be required to use SSO to access their Gaucho E-Bill accounts.

UCSB is continuing the rollout of Single-Sign-On (SSO) for Campus applications. From within MyBARC, all students will subsequently authenticate via SSO to access the Gaucho E-Bill application.

FRAUD ALERT

We have received reports that several UCSB students have become victims of a Fraud Scheme whereby a third party is using stolen credit cards to make payments to the University.  Credit Card and eCheck Payments to UCSB should be made directly by the Student or Parent using a Credit Card or Banking Information owned by the Student or Parent.  Do not allow other people to access your account to make payment on your behalf.

FINANCIAL AID REFUNDS

UCSB is committed to getting financial aid refunds to students in the safest and most expedient means possible.  To that end, we strongly encourage all students receiving financial aid to enroll in eRefund.  eRefund is a system that provides UCSB with the ability to issue a direct deposit of funds to a student’s personal checking or savings account.  Students not enrolled in eRefund receive their refunds by way of a paper check that is mailed to their local mailing address. On average, students enrolled in eRefund receive their refunds 5 to 7 days earlier than those students receiving a paper check.
